How to choose a charging station

  • Socket vs integrated cable

    Thanks to the socket, the charging station is universal and can charge a car with any type of connector. The charging station with integrated cable is more comfortable for users, especially in cold or rainy weather. At the same time, however, the integration of the cable exposes the operator to the risk of damage and the care of the cable thus passes to him.

  • Offline authorization

    If the charging station is used by more than one user, authorization with the RFID reader and chips is possible with the EVECUBE C smart charging stations. This allows you to control and see who is consuming how much.

  • Dynamic Load Management Module

    The DLM Module allows the charging station to adapt the charging current to the energy performance of the building. If the appliance is switched on in the building, the charging station automatically reduces the charging current. After the appliance has finished its operation, the charging current will increase again. The electric car is thus always charged with the highest possible current without tripping the fuses.

  • Consumption measurement module

    It is possible to integrate an electricity meter or measuring coils into EVECUBE charging stations. This option is useful if you need to monitor how much energy was consumed in total. In EVECUBE C charging stations, the electricity meter is integrated automatically.

  • Type 1 vs Type 2

    Older electric cars such as CITROEN - C-Zero or FIAT - 500e have a type 1 connector. The type 2 connector is the current European standard and all newer cars are equipped with it.

  • Stainless steel stand

    All charging stations can either be installed on the wall as wall boxes or can be placed on a stainless steel stand.
