The type 1 male charging socket is equipped with an IP54-certified cover, which provides protection against dust and against the ingress of water splashing from all sides. When connected, the socket protection is also at the IP54 level.

The charging socket is equipped with resistance sensors that can monitor the temperature very accurately. If the temperature rises above a safe limit, the charging power is automatically reduced or completely disconnected.

The socket meets all the requirements prescribed by the test and certificate for electronic devices JDQ 53.3, which guarantees its resistance to vibration, moisture, dust and salt spray. It is equipped with a flammability isolator approved by the UL94 V-0 certificate, which can stop the spread of flame within 10 seconds.
